Three Stars builds custom steel bicycles in St. Paul, Minnesota. I build my bikes one at a time by hand. I’m of the mind that I should only build what I know, so Three Stars builds bikes made for road riding (or racing), cyclocross, gravel racing, touring and commuting. I don’t currently build mountain bikes.
At Three Stars I focus on building you the best possible bike for a price that's fair for both of us. I put a lot of love, time and effort into each bike I build and believe that there should be an emotional connection between owner and bicycle. These are much more than off the rack bikes, and I work diligently to ensure that the whole Three Stars experience, from our first contact to your last ride on the bike reflects that.
As of September 2011 I'm only selling complete bikes. If you have parts you would like to use that is fine, otherwise I'll order up anything you need. Each bike is made for the individual ordering it, there's not a Three Stars Road in a 54. Currently the wait list is about four months long.
